Pupillary reflexes, Doll's eye reflexes, Spontaneous Respirations etc only indicate intact Brain stem. They don't guarantee intact CEREBRAL HEMISPHERES. Often pupillary reflexes, Doll's eye, Spontaneous respirations etc are falsely taken as functioning brain / Living Brain. But it is not so.

Unless the patient responds and obeys verbal commands properly, the function of Cerebral hemispheres can never be ensured. These are based on my observations in my practice. Kindly comment.
