There is the large difference between healthcare quality at each junction whether rural , semi-urban or main cities. You can see quacks everywhere. Forget about rural healthcare , In well-developed cities, quacks are posted as junior doctors where senior level genuine MD/MS docs own hospitals. I had launched a small scale multi-specialty hospital in the semi-urban area, doing private practice in the city , remained on call at a peripheral hospital in the well-known city of India, had very close experience of this bitter truth . According to my observations, quacks are either Aayush doctors or experienced paramedics.
Even medical degree holders, call them as a doctor and compelled to oblige them just because they have to run their hospitals. Quacks provide them connections, clientele, protection etc. Every ICU is full of these junior doctors. I feel pity for that city. Threats and danger…
