Sometime back an article in Lancet arosed doubt of Low standards of Indian Doctors. This was supported by one teachers observation about bed side manners of a doctor. Medical education system and training standards was doubted.
Does the fault lies in teachers or students or our Educational policies? This is more so with reference to Psychiatry for undergraduates and also post graduates. Is it necessary to train all doctors who aspire to become teachers in medical colleges to improve standard and quality?
