A retrospective cohort study published in Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology evaluated POTENZA radiofrequency microneedling in 50 adults with clinically diagnosed rosacea at a dermatology center in Seoul, South Korea. Patients had a median rosacea duration of 54 months (interquartile range, 24โ€“81), and 68% received concomitant oral antibiotics. Severity was assessed using the Rosacea Area and Severity Index and erythema index from standardized photographs and medical records, with missing data addressed using multiple imputation and linear mixed-effects models.

Mean Rosacea Area and Severity Index decreased from 11.9 to 9.08 (difference, โˆ’2.79; 95% confidence interval, โˆ’3.48 to โˆ’2.11; P<.001), while erythema index decreased from 2.48 to 1.58 (difference, โˆ’0.90; 95% confidence interval, โˆ’1.14 to โˆ’0.66; P<.001). Lesion fading occurred in 80% and texture improvement in 72%.โ€ฆ
