The Indian Radiology and Imaging association which is comprised of more than 20,000 radiologists as its members will go on a nationwide indefinite stir from September 1 to protest against the draconian Pre-Conception and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques Act (PCPNDT Act). This strike is supported by Apex bodies like Indian Medical Association, Federation of Obstetric and Gynecology Society of India, and they have radiologists shutting down all the modalities on September 1st.
Whereas, Ultrasound services will be stopped from September 2.
