One of my close relative had hepatic cirrhosis. He never drank alcohol and no history of viral hepatic diseases. Never had jaundice or ascites. He recently had oedema all over the body including face. For that he went to see a doctor.
While investigating, they did an ultrasound abdomen and found out he has fatty liver. Doing hepatic function tests, they found most of the hepatic functions raised over the limit but he don't show any jundis. By checking the blood, the Hb is less than 13 and there is increased MCHC.all other functions are normal.Kidney functions are all normal. He is hypertensive and was taking telmisartan(now changed to Losartan with my advice because I was taking telmisartan and had lot of GI problem including raised LFT(only Ga like mma-GT.all others normal).
