Rare Triple Procedure Addresses Breast Cancer and Silent Cardiac Disease in One Operation

A multidisciplinary team at ShardaCare HealthCity successfully completed a rare six hour combined surgery in a 65-year-old woman, treating early stage breast cancer alongside two previously undiagnosed but potentially fatal cardiovascular conditions during a single operative session. The patient initially presented with a right breast lump and was diagnosed with early stage breast carcinoma . A breast conserving procedure had been planned, followed by postoperative radiotherapy. However, routine preoperative evaluation revealed an unexpected heart murmur, prompting further cardiac workup.
