A 55-year-old man presents with recurrent episodes of early-morning weakness, slurred speech, and sweating. He had previously been treated for a seizure disorder, but his episodes continued despite antiepileptic therapy. Further evaluation reveals fasting hypoglycemia with inappropriately detectable insulin and C-peptide levels during hypoglycemia. A multiphase contrast-enhanced CT of the abdomen is performed.
