9 yr old girl seen one year ago with severe anemia(Hb-4gm%) reports classical for Iron deficeincy anemia(low serum iron,ferritin,%transferrrin and high TIBC),Electrphoresis -Normal.Received iron & FA for 7 months and recovered fully.History of similar illness 3yr back and received blood transfusion.No h/o GI bleed or malena. Again presented with severe anemia(Hb-3.4gm%)similar reports,Stool Occult blood negative,normal B12 levels,Renal function tests normal,TSH-Normal.
What is the cause in the absence of suggestive chronic haemorrhage?
