Recently I attended a case of workplace injury. the patient had two fingers amputated in his left hand while working with a wood cutting machine. Owner of the machine was spending the hospital expenses to the victim.
I did AR entry and not given police intimation as the owner and victim requested not to inform police regarding this. My question is should all work place injury is to be made MLC and intimated to police or any relaxation in the rule with patient consent? Can the initial AR entry made as non-MLC and later when any problem arises between victim and owner that time police intimation be given and converted to MLC?
