A pt. aged 63, came with ear ache, discharge, swelling around ear. She was treated with antibiotics etc and ear became dry for a month. Audiogram is moderate to moderately severe mixed loss bilateral with little AB gap.This case of posterosuperior retraction pocket was discussed with the patient, for surgery. Case taken, there was necrosis lp incus, adhesion around incus, promontory, below RW, under annulus & facial recess cleared with intact pocket dissection.
