The subject is very simple as we know a medical college teacher besides his or her OPD ward rounds has to do a lot of things if the surgeon performs surgeries also has to do teaching of not only undergraduate but also postgraduate. They have also to guide them in the thesis work.
So I agree with one of the authors comments 24 by 7 hours work. Yes, it is very important to increase not only the salary but also the non-practicing allowance to ensure better teaching.
