In rural areas, I have seen many doctors especially non allopathic (no offence please) give steroids in the form of either injectable or pills to every other patient in their day to day practice. Even patient demands for the same tiny pills on many occasions. What are the actual role of this type of medications? Is this ethical? Is this not harmful on part of patients' health?

What should we have to do? How to convince the patient for not taking such kind of drugs? Kindly share your experience and suggestions for the same. Thank you.
