What is the best treatment of rotator cuff tear (minor tear of supraspinatus) with sub-acromial bursitis. There is some resriction in internal and external rotation with some stiffness and there is pain during night. Symptoms are there since past 8 months. Initially one hydrocortisone injection was given which gave no relief.
I could not find absolute indications of surgical repair (open or by arthroscopy) though every one is recommending surgery. How long one should wait before one goes under the knife and what are the consequences if one decides not to do surgery. And what are the problems with surgery.
