A new cool way of marking attendance is now being observed at Agra health centers. 15 community health centers and 43 public health center doctors have been directed to send selfies with patients to mark their attendance. In any case, if doctors fail to send their selfies with patients on that day, their salary will be cut and disciplinary action would be taken against them. This move was initiated to ensure that doctors arrive on time daily.
It was observed that doctors at these centers took unreported leaves and arrived late. During the sudden inspection, it was observed that doctors were never present at their workplace during duty hours. As a result, the divisional commissioner had ordered the health department officials to ensure that doctors come on time daily.
