Recently I have come across a lot of post containing medical books in PDF format shared on Social Networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. These posts are usually shared by young professionals over groups and individual pages. No doubt it helps many but at the same time as professionals do we forget that it takes a lot of efforts and time for the author to write a book and their efforts should not be shared pubically for free. No doubt some books are high at costs, but if we buy them arent we giving a reward to the author for his/her effort to make our knowledge stronger?
My Question is should we support this or stand against firmly and respect the efforts of authors of medical feternity ? If we want to stop this, What measires should we take? I have attached an image for the refernece, I came across on social media.
