In a judgment, the court has directed the state government to pay doctors of Ayush working in National Rural Health Mission on par with their allopathic counterpart. It was pleaded that at the same time and similar work Ayush Doctors were paid 28000/ whereas Allopathic Doctors 48000/ Rs.The only difference is of the system of medicines. Right from entry to completion of the course, hardship and cost required for these courses are totally different.
Based on it, there arises no question of paying them on par with Allopathic counterparts. What is your opinion?
