Refering to Dr Roshan Radhakrishnan's article on the subject, I would like to point out that nobody ever said practicing medicine was a cake walk, the trial and tribulations have been there since times immemorial. The system has many flaws, quite aptly pointed out by the good doctor, but the answer is not to look the other way and discourage your off spring to join this "noble" profession. Believe me there are a huge number of us who quietly practice ethical, compassionate and scientific medicine and have a number of grateful patients.

More good people need to join so that the truants are minimized .
