Cytomegalic Inclusion Body Disease (CMID) is a series of signs and symptoms caused by cytomegalic infection. S. toxoplasmosis or other rare infections such as herpes or rubella virus.
It can produce calcification of CNS and often the kidneys. CMID is the most common cause of cong abnormalities in u s a can also cause pneumonia and other disease n immunocompromised patients such as with HIV aids or recipient of organ transplant.
