Synopsis: The World Health Organization (WHO) in 2015 had reported 1.1 billion people globally to be smokers. According to the U.S. Surgeon General’s 2017 report, more than 80% of adult smokers initiate tobacco consumption before the age of 18. Researchers have observed that health-related adverse effects of tobacco are a major reason for quitting smoking. Therefore, making adolescents aware of the health hazards of smoking or tobacco consumption helps them quit.

It also aims to spread awareness among school children to join the tobacco cessation program.
