Specialisation in medical subjects will be in the interest of doctors if specialisation seats are given to fresh medical graduates. By the age of 24, medical students have passed their MBBS exams and completed their rotating one-year internship. 100 percent PG seats should go to fresh graduates without any reservations as the medical profession is such that not even a single mistake could occur. Reservation by virtue of caste basis should not be there and seats for rural service also dilutes merit.
Why I am suggesting this is because when you finish MBBS, you are young and can be very active, learning quickly and also you tolerate the outbursts of your teachers. After you do state health job you are mature, married and suddenly you become student, compared to freshers you find the going difficult. You can appear in open competition and if you get a pg seat you can join that anytime.…
