A young lady came in emergency on 27/8 at 5.30 pm with c/o severe body ache, fever, since 3 to 5 days BP 120/80 pulse 86/min, investigation showed Hb 7.6, WBC 8600, platelet 235000. sickling positive patient was stable overnight. On 28/8 morning bp 110/70 pulse 96/min patient condition was stable. Treatment given was IV fluids, NSAIDS, and antibiotics.
But at 2 pm suddenly patient collapsed while going to the bathroom. After CPR and all attempts to revive the patient, she was declared dead. Question is what might be the cause of sudden death and collapse of the patient?
