About 2 yrs back a young NRI educated,healthy lady aged about 27 yrs on her trip to India almost suddenly developed severe weakness in night.One of my friend related to her called me at 11 PM to admit  her and to infuse dextrose and vitamins in some hospital here in Ranchi.On phone she gave history that for few hrs she is unable to get up from bed and even do her work and has severe weakness.I advised something available at home and then slept.She was nondiabetic,euthyroid ,normotensive and was on pantoprazole for few days for gastritis.
