As per protocol, hepatitis B immunoglobulin should be given to a baby born to a hepatitis B positive mother within 72 hours (preferably within 12 hrs). In govt hospitals, we give zero doses of hepatitis B.

Many times we receive hepatitis B immunoglobulin after the third day. Can we give hepatitis B immunoglobin after 3 days?
