A young 33 year old male complains of right temporal headache since 1 year, has multiple pustules in scalp and face since 1year, and defecation after a meal since 6 months. During recent examination, a tenderness on palpation on right side temporal region, especially on a pulsating superficial artery. Pain localised to temporal region. Pain aggravates on increasing pressure on carotid artery, no difficulty in vision. There are multiple pustules on scalp and face and upper body with erythematous base, these are itchy. Oily and hairy skin is there. He also informed of increased defecation frequency but stool is well formed.
2 months back he took ceftriaxone IV for pustules. Got treated. Now there is recurrence. Please provide your valuable opinions regarding this case. Thank You.
