Patient At Presentation A 79-year old man was presented with his family. His family members were concerned about his behavior. He has been more unpredictable, hostile, and had started being suspicious about his family members, especially about his wife. He felt that she was poisoning him and refused to eat anything that she has prepared for him. He complains of disturbed sleep pattern but his appetite looks normal. However, he has no past psychiatric history.
He is on 5mg prednisolone three times daily and has been taking it for 6 weeks following a bout of pneumonia. Mental State examination The patient is overweight and slightly breathless.
