My father developed symptoms of cold, running nose, with sneezing, latst night and today moning he high fever 103 C; and in spite of paracetamol 500 mg, his fever just came down to 101-102 C. For cold, I gave him Levocetrizine; which gave him some relief. If paracetamoll 500 is not taking the fever down, can i use 1000 mg dose in elderly 80 yr old, or should I restrict myself to 650 mg max. Is there a reason to worry in terms of Swine flu cases.
