Diet + CBT in Endometriosis: A New RCT Approach Endometriosis , a chronic inflammatory and estrogen-dependent disorder affecting nearly 10% of reproductive-age women , continues to impose significant pain burden and reduced quality of life despite standard hormonal and surgical treatments. Recognizing the growing interest in self-management strategies, this randomized controlled trial protocol ( PEARL study ) investigates the effectiveness of an anti-inflammatory diet intervention ( AIDI ) and cognitive behavioural therapy ( CBT ), individually and in combination, in improving pain and health-related quality of life (HRQoL).
