Govt. has given a GO nearly 3 years back making TB a notifiable disease. CTD has designed a web portal called NIKSHAY for uploading TB notifications, www.nikshay.gov.in . Cases at the Govt facilities are getting registered and uploaded in Nikshay. But data from private sector is not COMPLETLY getting uploaded.
IMA urges all Practitioners to notify TB cases diagnosed and treated by them in the given format every month. They need to send the data to IMA Technical consultants who will do the uploading or upload the data on their own using their HEID and password. The format for Tb notifications is attached.
