The Pros Ophthalmology is a fascinating subject. When I first took up Ophthalmology I never realized the field was so vast for such a small organ. It is vast but fascinating all the same. It is nothing short of a miracle to know how such a complex organ like the eye works perfectly and in sync with the other eye. It has multiple subspecialties- Cornea, Cataract, Retina, Pediatric & Strabismus, Oculoplastics, Neuro-ophthalmology, Uveitis &Ocular Immunology. Each of them are as fascinating as any of the other.
