Governmentt of India through Ministry of Health & Family welfare has proposed a centrally constituted and organised National Licentiate Examination or NLME or EXIT examination for all Medical students who passed MBBS examinations and to provide registration by state or central MCI once one clears it. This has been advocated to bring a single standard for all students passing out from different government medical colleges in different states including private medical colleges where usual charge of distributing degrees against money is labelled. So, if one clears then all at par regarding medical knowledge in India.
