During Medical School training, clinical students are taught how to make bedside diagnosis and basic skills how to interpret ECGx, Xrays and other imging modalities like ultrasound. Very few of our Professors of Medicine and Surgery teach the medicos how to counsel a patient regarding his disease or ailment, the proper ethiquette to be taken while talking to a patient or his/her attendant and how to face certain unfriendly situations when things go awry. So when a person fresh from Medical College or School starts practicing medicine, he will be confronted by various problems he had not been trained to face.
