I saw a patient aged 38 years. She came for fever. When I enquired about her menstrual history she said she is not menstruating after a snake bite at the age of 19. She was also informed about it. Looking at her history it looked like viper bite.

She said she also had a dialysis. What is the probable cause for amenorrhea? She attained menarche at the age of 12 and had her regular menstruation till this incident. A USG done 3 years back shows normal study with atrophied endometrium.
