On 13 September 2015 while getting ready for my OPD I tuned into TV - India Today Channel - regarding suicide by parents of Avinash was a great shock. On hearing the news, I immediately got worried and knew that now it will be blame game for the doctors and hospitals. Pen is mightier than the sword and instead of PEN (print) it is visual media that is more powerful. Doctors are always at the receiving end. I immediately rang up the channel and told them it is system failure.
So do not blame the doctors. But yesterday at another channel the same blame game but fortunately doctors were not singled out. But the way the discussion goes it will be bad for our profession.These thing have resulted in violence against the doctors.
