A 3-Year-old female child weighing 10 kg presented with epileptiform myoclonic head drops/jerks since 30 days with injection methylprednisolone pulse therapy for 5 days, syrup valproate 200 mg 5 ml bid for 15 days, syrup levetiracetam 200 mg 2 ml bid for 10 days & Tablet clonazepam 0.25 mg 1/2 bid for 5 days. No improvement in the patient's condition. CT BRAIN - Near symmetric hypodensities in the bilateral fronto parietal subcortical white matter.With clinical history s/o ADEM. MRI BRAIN WITH CONTRAST - Multiple areas of confluent appearing white matter signal abnormalities noted in bilateral cerebral hemisphere symmetrical in frontal & parietal lobes.
