I have a 10 yr old boy with c/o sudden hearing loss on lt side since 3mths. No h/o trauma, No h/o use of any ear drops or any other medications. Hearing loss noticed when he was unable to hear with single ear phone on lt ear. On examination ears- no abnormality detected,but Rinnes +ve vboth ears,webers lateralised to lt ear. Nose and oral cavity- Within normal limits,no adenoid hypertrophy.
PTA and Impedance as attached. Shows severe mixed hearing loss on lt side. Pt treated with prednisolone 30mg, levocetrizine+ ambroxol, decongestant ears drops but no improvement. Kindly suggest further management.
