United Nation's International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) stated that more than 18 million new cases of cancer are expected this year. Nearly 9.6 million people will die from various forms of diseases in 2018. According to IARC’s Global Cancer Observatory report 2012, a specialized cancer agency of the WHO, mentioned that the cancer is a growing global health threat. 1 in 5 men and 1 in 6 women worldwide develop cancer during their lifetime and 1 in 8 men and 1 in 11 women die from cancer.
In order to control this devastating disease across the world, efficient prevention and early detection policies must be implemented urgently.
