Zonal Transplant Coordination Center (ZTCC), Mumbai has mentioned that hospitals should mandatorily report any unexplained incidents or deaths after cadaveric organ transplants within 24 hours. The announcement was triggered following the death of two patients after receiving kidney transplants from the same donor. At present, hospitals send updates to ZTCC at the beginning of the month.
