Yesterday I got a case of a severe Urticaria. She was in the office when she started having wheels on the face and neck. When she came to me she had already developed swelling of the lips and odema on the face. I gave her Allergra 120mgs, got ice packs which I told her to apply on the face and neck.
In the mean time I asked for Inj.Betnisol. Since her swelling and itching continued I gave Tab cetzine and contiuned the ice application. As soon as the inj betnisol arrived I gave her injection.Slowly she felt better and her swelling came down She was sent home with a freind and asked to see her family doctor. What are your opinions on this?
