The US FDA has approved a combination of pembrolizumab and berahyaluronidase injection for the treatment of 18 cancers, including melanoma, lung, gastric, urothelial, and breast cancers. Pembrolizumab is a programmed death receptor-1 (PD-1)-blocking antibody, and berahyaluronidase alfa is an endoglycosidase.
