Uterine transplantation is an emerging solution for the patients with absolute uterine factor infertility, uterine agenesis or hysterectomy. In the year, 2014 successful uterine transplantation is reported with first human live birth which has raised the hopes in the field of gynecology. The present article is focusing on the current scenario of uterine transplantation. Around 8 to 12 % women face problems of infertility in their reproductive lifespan.

The absence of anatomical uterus or functional uterus has been a serious problem with no cure situation in the field of gynecology.
