A 46-year-old male construction worker presented to an emergency department with a rebar penetrated through his body. The rebar had penetrated after the man fell from height at a construction site, two hours before the presentation. The patient was partially conscious and was able to answer questions accurately. History The patient had no history of any chronic disorders or infectious diseases.
He also denied any previous trauma. Investigation The patient’s vital signs were as follows: Temperature: 37.6 °C; Pulse: 112/min; Respiration: 30/min; and Blood pressure: 121/75 mmHg.
