A recent case series of 52 eyes evaluated the ForeSight virtual corneal simulation for complex laser refractive surgeries. Using preoperative corneal measurements—tomography, topography, and epithelial/stromal thickness—the algorithm predicted postoperative corneal geometry and refraction. Results showed strong correlations between predicted and actual outcomes for keratometry, corneal thickness, and ablation depth (R² > 0.95), with moderate accuracy for astigmatic corrections. Postoperative topographies closely matched the simulation, demonstrating the tool’s potential to guide surgical planning and enhance patient education.
