Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) affect more than 1 million people every day, worldwide. There are 30 different pathogens known to cause STIs, however, eight of these pathogens show the greatest incidence for syphilis, gonorrhea, HSV, HIV, HPV, and associated genital lesions. Counseling and behavioral interventions are crucial to prevent STIs and to reduce their negative perceptions at the individual level. Docplexus has arranged the ‘SASSM e-School Webinar Series’ , in association with the South Asian Society for Sexual Medicine (SASSM), which will focus on the various aspects of sexually transmitted diseases, genital lesions, and HIV.
