A 2 months old, critically ill female baby with severe respiratory tract infection was admitted in private hospital. Doctor after examination advised parents to take patient home as chances of her survival are negligible. Parents ensured that they are ready to accept the fate and asked the doctor to start full-fledged treatment. A good quality of heavy nursing care was required.Doctor on duty again tried to motivate to take patient home but in vain.Rational treatment and care were provided which proved fruitful and child survived.
