Medical students are not responsible for the quality of medical education. It's a failure of health ministry and MCI. Health ministry should accept this mistake and improve the MBBS curriculum. Health ministry should give hands-on training to produce competent doctors. Don't blame medical students. The government should not focus on creating new exams. After 10 years again the government will say, the exit test standard is poor and medicos have to write one more exam.
Coaching centres will proliferate and actual MBBS studies will lose importance. MBBS quality will further go down. Improving the current MBBS curriculum and training is the only solution.
