A 12 years old girl had pain in lower right quadrant of abdomen and clinically/ ultrasonography support acute appendicitis. The girl was operated, removed appendix sent for biopsy and father of girl is doctor. 7 days course of antibiotics was given. After about one month time, the patient again had pain abdomen, ultrasonography report, surgeon diagnosed as a case of typhilitis.
15 days antibiotics course was given. Girl was all right, her father being doctor sought opinion from second radiologist who confidently said appendicitis and denied typhilitis in past also. What is the correct diagnosis? Kindly advise.
