Md pathology as of today covers transfusion medicine however some institutes have started md transfusion medicine too . I have completed md in pathology with a senior residency in a teaching hospital. In the scarcity of teaching posts as of now n my special interest in blood banking is it a good option to go for a job in a good blood bank .
Will the experience in blood bank along with a md path n teaching experience of senior residency count later if a teaching post in transfusion medicine comes up sometime later ?? Is it a good option to grow in transfusion medicine ??
