A young boy of 14 presented with some one was hitting him while he was sitting in room with his mother. As he was assuming some one was hitting him he move backward followed by fall on back. Soon after he become altered conscious having slurred speech. When they reach to hospital, patient was little bit irritable, though oriented. CNS examination was not possible. H/o fever before one month.
Conclusion--acute onset of visual hallucination. MRI, EEG routine biochemistry sent. 1 - viral encephalitis? 2 - temporal lobe epilepsy? What treatment should be given?
