I have a female patient, 48-year-old, weight 87 kgs as of now (it was 75 kgs around 18 months back). She has got uncontrolled T2 Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Dyslipidemia. As per her claim, due to socio-economic reasons she was never regular with her medicines initially. Even when she started consulting with me, she was irregular with her medicines as well as follow-ups and she was already on 30/70 insulin twice a day. Over a period of time her glucose control worsened. I had to start her on basal-bolus insulin regimen last year.

This time, she came after almost 6 months for the follow-up and was visibly very obese. Her fasting and post-lunch readings were also above 300.
